Cathryn Russell

Territory Manager - Washington

 

Cathryn was born and raised on an island in the Pacific Northwest, where she inherited from her family a deep love of the outdoors, gardening and preserving food. Her first job was at a natural foods store, and she has spent her whole working life in the food industry.

 

A professional baker for 15 years, she ran her own bakery that specialized in vegan baking.Over the past 8 years, working at co-ops on both the east and the west coasts, Cathryn has developed a passion for being an advocate in the natural foods industry.

 

She has come to understand the important role of building relationships between producers and consumers and how those relationships foster quality, informed choices. In her spare time she can be found gardening with her partner, hanging out with her son, running, knitting, and hunting for mushrooms in the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest. She loves canning, pickling, baking and discovering new restaurants, bakeries, and diners in her little corner of the world.
