Chris earned his BA in Communication from the University of California, San Diego while working for Whole Foods Market La Jolla as a buyer. His experience and education landed him a job with Advantage Sales & Marketing as a Territory Manager where he excelled in managing over 80 lines in San Diego. During his employment with Advantage and Whole Foods Market, Chris has forged strong relationships with many phenomenal people in the industry.

 

With a decade in the Natural Foods industry under his belt, Chris is welcomed to Yin & Yang with a wealth of knowledge and a thirst for life. His experience as a buyer and a territory manager for a national broker gives him a unique advantage and understanding of the business. Chris covers the area from Chula Vista to Oceanside: Jimbo’s, Ocean Beach People’s Coop, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Keil’s, Earthgrown, etc.

 

Chris enjoys anything to do with the ocean, mountains, lakes, streams and rivers. From spearfishing in the La Jolla kelp beds to hiking the Na Pali coast, he loves the natural world and all of its wonders. He cherishes spending time with his parents and two older brothers who all live hundreds of miles away but manage to vacation together often. He is proud of his Cuban heritage and can’t get enough of his mom’s home cooking.
