Greer Montgomery

Regional Support - SoPac



Growing up in California, Greer cultivated her love of sustainable farming and organic foods while living in Santa Cruz. At UC Santa Cruz, she studied Anthropology, emphasizing in Environmental Anthropology and Sustainable Food Systems.  Through working with organizations like Food What?! and the Homeless Garden Project, she developed a deep appreciation for the link between organic food production and personal fulfillment. 

Since then she has worked in an array of jobs including writing, blogging, as a vendor at farmers markets, and delivering produce throughout the Bay Area.  She has also visited and worked on farms elsewhere around the globe, including India, New Zealand, and Australia.  

In her free time Greer enjoys surfing, gluten free baking, and lifeguarding the beaches of Southern California.
